Felix Golubev, Ric Bienstock, Simcha JacoboviciLast night, in Toronto, at Canada’s version of the Emmys – the Canadian Screen Awards – our documentary, “Tales From the Organ Trade” swept four awards, including the coveted Donald Brittain Award. For me, it was a thrill to be honoured with this prize for a second time in my career. My associate Ric Bienstock was the star of the evening. Besides the Donald Brittain, she won separate awards for research and writing, and joined the pantheon of Canadian journalists by receiving the much esteemed Gordon Sinclair Award.
