We’re Causing Demonstrations in India
It seems that the book that Prof. Barrie Wilson and I wrote, The Lost Gospel, is now causing demonstrations in India. Since the book is not available in that country yet and any Amazon orders wouldn’t have reached Ongole on the Bay of Bengal (where today’s demonstration took place), I can only assume that the protesters have not read a single line from the text. Asked why they were demonstrating, they said that our book goes against the Biblical teaching that Jesus wasn’t married. I guess they don’t have the New Testament in Ongole, because nowhere in the Christian Bible does it say that Jesus wasn’t married. Maybe what they are really reacting to is Bill O’Reilly and the others like him who attacked our text without reading it. What a shame that so many people around the world are little interested in the Jesus of history and totally caught up in the Jesus of Pauline theology.
